HOLLYBUSH HEALTH CENTRE

Due to the current situation around Covid-19 we have today taken the decision to reduce the level of service we provide at Hollybush Health Centre. From Monday (13th April) until further notice we will have a Doctor, Nurse and Healthcare assistant available on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 8.30am and 12.30pm for those who are unable to be seen at the 77 Thorne Road site.  You can still contact the Practice Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm by telephone using the usual number (890440) but your calls will be answered by the 77 Thorne Road site, you can contact the Thorne Road site directly on 361318.

To reduce your chances of catching COVID-19 and reduce pressure on your local GP practice during this busy time, appointments will be carried out over the phone through e-consultation or video consultation unless there is a clinical need for you to come into the practice. This will help minimise risk while continuing to ensure people get the care and advice they need.

Our practice is one of 43 in Doncaster forming part of the Doncaster Clinical Commissioning Group (DCCG). They are responsible for helping us to develop better services for our patients and ensuring that the services provided at the hospital are of a consistently high standard.

NHS South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw are the organisation who contract with us to provide services to you.

At St Vincent Practice, we aim to treat all our patients promptly, courteously and in complete confidence. We feel it is important you know who you are speaking to, so our practice staff wear a name badge and identify themselves on the telephone.

Our team includes five GP partners, two salaried GPs, three Advanced Nurse Practitioners, eight Practice Nurses, four Health Care Assistants as well as our Management team. Two Medical Secretaries, Four Administration support staff and fourteen Reception staff. We offer a full general practice service and run specialist clinics for children, diabetes, heart disease, COPD and asthma sufferers and for patients needing minor surgery.
